The Ground Round at River’s Edge team is excited to announce we will be reopening Friday, May 22 at 4 p.m. The landscape has changed since the onset of Covid19 and the mandated “Safer at Home” orders.  In that light, we ask for your patience as we implement new sanitation and social distancing guidelines with our guests and with our team members.  

Memorial Day Weekend, we will be serving 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday and 11 a.m. – 9p.m. on Memorial Day.  Breakfast will reopen at a later, undetermined date. Following Memorial Day weekend, our hours will be 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Friday & Saturday.  

It is understandable many of our guests will be concerned about Covid19 while dining out. The safety of our guests and team members is a priority.  With direction and advice from experts at the FDA, the Centers for Disease Control, the Environmental Protection Agency, and other agencies, the Wisconsin Restaurant Association has developed “The Wisconsin Restaurant Promise”.  For more information, visit www.wirestaurant.org.  In our effort to provide a safe dining experience, our management and team members will be following the guidelines outlined in the Wisconsin Restaurant Promise. 

To follow social distancing guidelines, tables will be more liberally spaced and we will limit seating to a maximum of six guests per table.  Other practices will include:

• Hand sanitation stations provided for both guests and team members.
• Tables and condiment dispensers will be sanitized with an approved sanitizer after the departure of each guest.
• Team members will be required to wear face masks.  
• Frequent hand washing will be promoted and enforced with all team members.
• Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of kitchen surfaces.
• The use of paper, disposable menus.

We look forward to your return and our opportunity to present to you our new menu.  Please keep in mind our team members have not been working for over two months and that we are implementing procedures that are new to everyone.  As we navigate these new procedures for everyone’s benefit, we will likely not be able to, initially, service the volume of guests we have in the past.  Again, we ask for your patience and look forward to your return.
